Privacy Policy
Last updated: 13 August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Bright Beans Media (“Bright Beans Media”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects personal information. It applies to brightbeansmedia.com and to the brands we operate as DBAs, including Traders Till, Farmstand Hub, Lido Hoppers, and Metric Moose, except where one of those brands publishes its own privacy policy, in which case that policy governs its service.
Who We Are
Bright Beans Media is a holding company registered in California. It is the legal entity behind the brands listed above. Bright Beans Media is the data controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
You can reach us at april@brightbeansmedia.com, by phone at 818-934-8368, or by post at 101 S Topanga Canyon Blvd, #925, Topanga, CA 90290, United States.
Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Information you give us. Your name, email address, mobile phone number, postal address, and any message content you send us, when you create an account with one of our brands, contact us, or subscribe to a mailing list.
- Account and transaction information. Records of your account, subscriptions, purchases, and the business data you choose to store in our software products.
- Information collected automatically. Your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and pages viewed, gathered through server logs, cookies, and analytics tools.
- Payment information. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We receive confirmation of a transaction and limited details such as the last four digits of a card. We do not store full payment card numbers.
How We Use Information
- To create and administer your account and provide the service you asked for.
- To send service and transactional messages, including notifications about your account, orders, or subscription.
- To respond to your questions and provide customer support.
- To send marketing communications where you have consented, and which you can withdraw from at any time.
- To operate, secure, monitor, and improve our sites and applications.
- To detect and prevent fraud and abuse.
- To comply with our legal and tax obligations.
Email Marketing
We send marketing email only to people who have opted in. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also unsubscribe by emailing us. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop transactional messages about your account.
Cookies And Analytics
Our sites use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used. We use analytics tools to collect aggregate statistics about traffic and page performance. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of our sites may then not work correctly.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these circumstances:
- Service providers. Companies that host our sites, process payments, deliver email, and provide analytics, acting on our instructions and only for the purposes we specify.
- Legal requirements. Where we are required to disclose information by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
- Business transfers. If the company or one of its brands is sold or merged, information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
- With your direction. Where you ask us to share information with someone else.
Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and for as long afterwards as we need it to meet legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. When it is no longer needed we delete it or anonymise it.
Security
We use industry standard measures including encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable hosting providers to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time.
California residents have the right, under the California Consumer Privacy Act, to know what personal information we collect and how it is used and shared, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by that law. You will never be treated differently for exercising any of these rights.
To make a request, email april@brightbeansmedia.com. We may need to verify your identity before we act on it, and we will respond within the time frame required by law.
Children
Our sites and services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Third-Party Sites
Our sites link to sites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices, and we encourage you to read the privacy policy of any site you visit.
Changes To This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated more prominently where required.
